Tie-dye is a process of dyeing textiles or clothing which is made from knit or woven fabric, usually cotton; typically using bright colors. It is a modern version of traditional dyeing methods used in many cultures throughout the world. "Tie-dye" can also describe the resulting pattern or an item which features this pattern. Tie-dyeing became fashionable in the West in the late 1960s and early 1970s as part of hippie style. It was popularized in the United States by musicians such as John Sebastian, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead and Joe Cocker.

Bette Midler , Dave Mustane from Megadeth , Ginger Baker from Cream (killing it on all levels) Axl Rose , That pansy dude from Simply Red ............. oh and Willie Nelson is a ginger too. What an all star cast of coppercrotches !!

Then the party shifted gears drastically. We left when we saw G5 Mac computers being hauled across the field and giant flickering screens were turned on that activated a secret pill hidden inside the free booze entrancing the 300 or so crowd into single file....... actually that last part is utter nonsense .........

We watched the entire Team Squirrel work on the most high tech projector i have ever seen in the pitch dark in the middle of a farmers field !! Amazing ...........

It was all too much for Shep who turned into "Weekend at Bernies " the second we all climbed into the WB van. Total Huey Lewis and the Snooze the whole ride home

As the van twisted and turned along the country roads of Lil Compton , our fresh new team corpse drifted and leaned all over the back of the truck. Rowdy Noddy Piper

I think around the half way mark on the journey , Shep's bum woke up and unleashed its clam bake fury on the rest of the crew . Inbetween remembering to breathe i laughed till tears rolled down .
